There were a wonderful, eclectic selection of works submitted by artists from around Aotearoa, New Zealand for this open call.
This is the invitation statement for the Collection : We ask you to create work(s) that reflect the meaning of the Taranaki Region to you as a person residing in Aotearoa, New Zealand. This can be from any perspective and about any particular aspect of Taranaki that you are interested in exploring creatively. The works may be wall based, hand held or plinth based.
Our judge is the creative force, Jane Woodhall from Te Horo on The Kapiti Coast. Jane will select the winner of the $400.00 Judge’s choice prize that has been provided by The Friends of The Gallery.
