July 5th from 2pm – Toni Hartill announces her award choices for ‘Boundless – Artist’s Books’
This is a very exciting chapter in the Gallery’s story – our first open call for an exhibition of Artist’s Books. Entries have come from around the world and will be judged by Toni Hartill in a blind jury system. Toni will then be on site to help curate the exhibition and will speak to everyone on Sunday 5th July about her selections. The major prize for ‘The Most Engaging work’ is $500.00 and the ‘Highly Commended’ prize for $250.00. Then there is the people’s choice prize to be selected by you – visitors to the gallery. This is for $250.00.
We hope to have an overflowing house of visitors for this wonderful event. Please spread the word.
Gallery Gathering – ‘This Is My Medicine’ – Heidi Monks. Sunday 16th August 2026 from 2pm.
Heidi will be our Exhibiting Artist and Artist in Residence from 13th August to 21st September. Heidi has a long term art practice combining spiritual awareness with her natural dyeing and stitching practice. Her works convey a sensitive approach to her passage through life.
Many of the methods Heidi uses are unusual in the world of natural dyeing, reflecting her years of experimentation and practice. Heidi will discuss her exhibited works and share her making experiences in her Artist Talk.
