This workshop is part of the Natural Material Series being offered as a collaboration between Tanya Doty of Heartstone Baskets and ‘from out of the blue studio gallery’ over the season of The Sustainable Backyard Trail and The Taranaki Arts Trail 2023.
DESCRIPTION:
Make a small round willow basket with a handle.
This 2 day workshop will teach you the basics of formal basket making from start to finish. You’ll walk away with a good little workhorse basket perfect for collecting eggs, fruit or veggies from the garden and the hands-on experience of having made it yourself.
No experience needed but you do need good hand strength
All tools and materials supplied
PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION
50% of the full fee is required to hold your space, or full payment can be made up front.
Full payment is required to be paid one week before the class date.
If you’re unable to make it to the class and I can find a replacement no cancellation fee will be charged.However, if you cancel and a replacement can’t be found 50% cancellation fee applies.
