TIME: 9am -4pm. Shared Lunch. Tea and Coffee supplied.
PRICE: $65 per person includes some materials.
Maximum of 4 people.
DESCRIPTION:
Come and learn a new skill – how to draw with your sewing machine. This technique allows you to embellish surface areas, quilt, and add texture, depth and interest to your fabric projects.
Bring:
* Food for a shared lunch
*Your sewing machine with manual, and a darning foot/freeform quilting foot . Your machine needs to be able to “drop the feed dogs” (these are the little ridges under the needle plate)
* spare needles and pins
*threads that suit fabric
* scissors
*pen and paper
*A piece of cotton fabric with either a clear design or a pictorial graphic. Clear lines will work best. Please don’t buy material. Either recycle a piece of clothing/fabric or look in your local op shop. We will work on an A4 size.
The Course Fee includes batting and calico backing.
