Description
The Wanaka Tree is an icon in the lake growing from a fence post. It is much photographed by tourists and there are always people around it. Created with hand-dyed fabric, foundation pieced, and machine quilted . The subtlety in the colour work as well as the intuitive use of the machine quilting brings this images to life.
