Description

Our NZ icon is under threat from both man and animal. Cars and habitat destruction have pushed local kiwi populations to the brink of destruction. Now we are seeing nationwide efforts to ensure their survival. This image reminds us that the task of ensuring Kiwi survival is constantly ongoing. This drawing is part of a larger collection of woven and drawn works highlighting our endangered and extinct species and their threats. Part of Extinction is Forever.
