One on One Guided Explorations into Igniting Your Own Creative Energies.
Viv Davy will personally lead you on a tailor-made excursion into your own untapped creative powers by opening pathways of exploration you may have never previously encountered.
Stay on site at Viv’s property – taradise – in the off-grid eco-friendly accommodation unit. This unit includes the Sleeping Cloud, a spacious living, dreaming and making area, and a large covered verandah set on one acre of permaculture organic garden. Your company will be birds – both wild and domesticated. Chinese Silkies and Indian Runner Ducks use the grounds around the accommodation as their playground. The garden is planted with materials for exploring basketry, paper-making, botanical printing and eco-dying, weaving, drawing etc.
The creativity activities offered on the retreat will bring you close to these natural sources that are on site as well as the mighty Tasman Ocean which is just across the road. Viewing of The Maunga (Mt Taranaki) is possible from the deck if the clouds allow. Viv believes that by becoming re-grounded in the natural world we are able, as people, to release new insights, energies and expressions that can rekindle our creativity. Authentic expressions arise from being in a clean, still place away from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The one on one creativity retreats are offered as either The Five Day Emersion Experience or The Two Day Taster Retreat
The Five Day Emersion Experience.
This retreat runs from a Wednesday evening when you will arrive at taradise through to a Monday at 6pm when, sadly , you will leave taradise. You will benefit from 5 nights of deep rest in the Sleep Cloud, five mornings of personally guided creativity exercises based on the natural environs and the inspiration waiting for you to explore, five afternoons of personal development or exploration feeding off the morning sessions, five late afternoon debriefs and five private evenings to work further on your inspirations, swim, read, use the outdoor bath, walk the local beaches or go further afield.
All materials are provided but please bring anything of your own that you want to work with.
The morning sessions will be 3 hours long each day. The late afternoon debriefs one hour.
Due to the complexities of modern dietary needs we do NOT cater for people on this retreat. All necessary cooking equipment and kitchen kit are provided for your personal use. Pictures and more details of the facilities at your accommodation can be provided on dates being arranged.
The minimum amount of personal contact you will have with Viv as your creativity coach over these five days will be 20 hours. In the afternoons Viv is working in the studio gallery ‘from out of the blue studio gallery’ which is on site so she is available if needed in that space.
The Two Day Taster Retreat
This retreat runs from a Friday evening when you will arrive at taradise through to a Sunday at 6 pm when sadly you will leave taradise. You will benefit from 2 nights of deep rest in the Sleep Cloud, two mornings of personally guided creativity exercises based on the natural environs and the inspiration waiting for you to explore, two afternoons of personal development or exploration feeding off the morning sessions, two late afternoon debriefs and two private evenings to work further on your inspirations, swim, read, use the outdoor bath, walk the local beaches or go further afield.

Investment in Your Health and Well Being.
The Five Day Emersion Experience with all accommodation, materials and 20 hours of one on one guidance is an investment of $1600.00.
Dates will need to be arranged directly with Viv on 021 407 424. Once the dates are set further details of the accommodation will be supplied. A deposit of 50% will be required to hold the space and time chosen.
The Two Day Taster Retreat with all accommodation, materials and 8 hours of one on one guidance is an investment of $650.00.
